Soccer for amputees or people with limb dysfunction is a rapidly growing sport. The amp soccer section of Warta Poznan was established in December 2019 and is the first of its kind in the capital of Greater Poland. The “Greens” team plays in the Ekstraklasa, where it competes against, among others, teams that have in their ranks representatives of Poland, the third team of the 2021 European Championships.

The league games receive media attention, and the matches are broadcast on TV, including online by TVP Sport. This is an excellent opportunity for the project to gain publicity and help get people with disabilities interested in physical activity. At Warta Poznan, we support such athletes, thus implementing one of the program points included in the “Development Plan 2020-23”. If you have undergone a leg or arm amputation or have a deformed one of your limbs, you are an ideal candidate to play amp soccer with us in Warta Poznan! Don’t sit at home, we are already playing. You don’t have to be a player! Ba, you may not even know the rules of the game! You can join us,supporting our fight for medals and independence! We train in a downhill system, every 2 weeks. We provide our incoming players with accommodation on site, we try to help with the financing of travel.
